Ridley Scott moves from House of Gucci to the Napoleonic wars in this Joaquin Phoenix-starring biopic, filled with battle scenes and a swooning romance with Empress Josephine (Vanessa Kirby). Premieres Nov. 22.
Disney’s latest animated feature turns to its history both for the plot (an origin story of the wishing star in Pinocchio) and in its look (expect some gorgeous throwbacks to movies like Sleeping Beauty!). Premieres Nov. 22.
You likely know Michelle Buteau from her scene-stealing performances, but the funny lady is also an accomplished writer. Her collection of essays about her hilarious (and relatable) life is an instant classic—and even better, after you read it, you can watch her Netflix comedy series of the same name! More Buteau is a very good thing.
The fishy flick finds Cardi B and Offset reprising their roles as Sharki B and Offshark, while the rap power couple’s kids will voice Kulture Sharki and Wavey Shark. Plus, Lance Bass, Aparna Nancherla, Ego Nwodim, and K-Pop boy band ENHYPEN are all tagging along for Baby Shark’s “major ocean picture” debut. The movie arrives Dec. 8 on Nickelodeon and Paramount+.
